Ingredients:-

For Momos

  • All Purpose flour – ¾ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – ¾ cup

For Stuffing

  • Oil – 3 tsp
  • Ginger and garlic minced – 2 tbsp
  • Spring onion – 1 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 medium
  • Green Chili – 1
  • Carrot minced – ½ cup
  • Cabbage minced – ½ cup
  • Pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
  • Spring onion for garnish

For Gravy

  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • Ginger-garlic minced – 2 tbsp
  • Red/Green Chili – 1
  • Onion – 1 medium
  • Bell Pepper – 1
  • Spring onion
  • Salt to taste
  • Soy Sauce – 2 tsp
  • Ketchup – 1 tbsp
  • Green Chili sauce – 1 tsp
  • Chili sauce – 1 tsp
  • Water – ¼ cup
  • Water – ½ cup (for corn starch slurry)
  • Corn flour – 2 tbsp

Preparation:-

  • Step 1. To prepare momos dough, mix ¾ cup all-purpose flour and salt in the bowl. Next, add ¾ cup of water and knead to form a smooth dough. Add 1 teaspoon of oil to the dough and knead for a minute. Cover the bowl and allow it to rest for 10 minutes
  • Step 2. Next, heat a frying pan on medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil, 2 tablespoons of minced ginger and garlic, 1 tablespoon spring onion, and 1 medium onion. sauté for a few seconds. Next, add 1 green chili, ½ cup carrot minced, ½ cup cabbage minced. Cook for 2 minutes and add salt to taste, 1 teaspoon pepper powder, and 1 teaspoon soy sauce. Mix well and garnish with spring onions. Now the stuffing is ready.

Next add 1 red/green chili, 1 medium onion, 1 bell pepper, spring onion, salt, 2 teaspoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of green chili sauce, and 1 teaspoon of chili sauce. Mix well and add ¼ cup of water to the gravy. Next, add corn flour slurry by adding 2 tablespoons of corn flour to the ½ cup of water. Mix well and add slurry to the gravy.
