  • Tomato – 4
  • Green Chili – 2
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri Chili Powder – 1 & ½ tbsp

  • Big onion – 2 medium (chopped)
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – ¼ tsp
  • Cashew paste – ¼ cup
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Fresh Cream – ¼ cup
  • Roasted Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves (for garnishing)

Instructions:-

  • Step 1: To a grinding jar add 4 chopped tomatoes, 2 green chilies, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, and 1 & ½ tablespoons Kashmiri chili powder, Grind till reaches a smooth paste.
  • Step 2: Heat a frying pan on medium flame and add 1 tablespoon of ghee/ butter, next, add paneer cubes (400 gm) to the melted butter and spread some salt and chili powder over paneer cubes. Toast for 2 minutes and remove the paneer from the pan. set aside.
  • Step 3: Next, heat a kadai on medium flame and add 3 tablespoons of butter and spices (4 cloves, 2 cinnamon, 1 bay leaf, ½ tsp cumin, 2 cardamoms), saute well, and add 2 medium finely chopped onion, saute well until golden color. After that add 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, ground tomato paste, and salt. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, add ¼ teaspoon sugar, and ¼ cup cashew paste. cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes, when the gravy starts to leave the pan add 1 cup of water and salt if required.
  • Step 4: Finally, add toasted paneer cubes to the gravy and add ¼ cup of fresh cream, 1 teaspoon of roasted Kasuri methi, ½ teaspoon of garam masala, and garnish with coriander leaves. The delicious Paneer Butter Masala is ready. it is a better companion with chapati or roti. Thank You.
