- Step 2: Heat a frying pan on medium flame and add 1 tablespoon of ghee/ butter, next, add paneer cubes (400 gm) to the melted butter and spread some salt and chili powder over paneer cubes. Toast for 2 minutes and remove the paneer from the pan. set aside.
- Step 3: Next, heat a kadai on medium flame and add 3 tablespoons of butter and spices (4 cloves, 2 cinnamon, 1 bay leaf, ½ tsp cumin, 2 cardamoms), saute well, and add 2 medium finely chopped onion, saute well until golden color. After that add 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, ground tomato paste, and salt. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, add ¼ teaspoon sugar, and ¼ cup cashew paste. cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes, when the gravy starts to leave the pan add 1 cup of water and salt if required.
