  • Oil: 3 tbsp

  • Onion: 2 medium
  • Tomato: 2 medium
  • Turmeric: ½ tsp
  • Pepper powder: 2 tsp
  • Kashmiri chili powder: 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder: 2 tsp
  • Fennel powder: 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Water: 1 cup
  • Tomato sauce: 3 tbsp
  • Pepper powder: 1 tsp
  • Garam masala: ½ tsp

  • Step 1. Soak 2 cups of soya chunks in 3 cups of hot water for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the soya turns soft, and strain the water through a strainer. Squeeze out excess water from the soya chunks and transfer them to a bowl. Set aside.
  • Step 2. Heat a kadai on a medium flame and add 3 tablespoons of oil, 3 cardamoms, 2 cinnamon sticks, and 4 cloves. Saute for a few seconds, and then add 1 tablespoon of minced ginger, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 2 green chilies, curry leaves, and 2 medium onions. Saute until the onions turn golden, then add 2 medium-chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
