Step-by-step instructions to prepare jowar coconut roti

Ingredients:-

⦁ Coconut: 1/2 cup
⦁ Shallots: 6
⦁ Garlic: 7-8 cloves
⦁ Cumin: 1 tsp
⦁ Kashmiri Chili: 2
⦁ Water: 1 cup
⦁ Salt to taste
⦁ Jowar flour: 1 cup
⦁ Black Sesame: 1 tbsp
⦁ Oil: 1 tsp

Preparation:-

⦁ Step 1. Firstly, Add 1/2 cup coconut, 6 shallots, 7-8 cloves of garlic, 1 teaspoon cumin, and 2 Kashmiri chilies, to a grinding jar and coarse grind. set aside.
⦁ Step 2. Next, add 1 cup water to a kadai and bring to a boil by adding salt to taste. Add the ground coconut mixture to the boiled water and mix well. Next add 1 cup jowar flour, mix, and cook for 2 minutes. once cooked transfer to a bowl.
Step 3. To remove the stickiness of the dough, add extra flour as required to form a smooth dough. once cooled start to knead with your hands till smooth dough.
⦁ Step 4. Next, add 1 tablespoon black sesame to the dough and knead it again. pour 1 teaspoon oil and knead for 1 more minute. make medium-sized balls.
⦁ Step 5. Dust the rolling surface with jowar flour and spread using a rolling pin into a round shape. then place on a heated tawa. flip after 1 minute and keep pressing the edges. when it starts to puff spray oil. cook for a few more seconds and jowar coconut roti is ready. remove from the pan and transfer to a serving plate. (repeat the process for balance rottis). Thank you.
