Preparation
- To a bowl add wheat flour and salt as required. Pour water and knead to form a smooth dough. Divide the dough into equal portions and set aside.
- To make the Paneer filling, to a pan add oil and minced Garlic and saute until light golden. Add 150 gm of paneer cut it into small pieces, stir, and cook until paneer turns golden. Once it turns golden and firm add seasoning, salt, pepper, chilli powder, cumin powder, and Oregano stir well and finally add 1 tbsp of Lemon juice. Switch off the flame and set aside.
- Let’s make a sauce for the wrap, In a bowl mix together 3 tbsp of mayonnaise, 1 tbsp Red chili sauce, 1 tbsp Ketchup, and a quarter tsp of mixed herbs. Mix well and the sauce is ready. Set aside.
- Next, make roti out of dough, Dust flour on a flat surface and spread dough to the size of the roti using a rolling pin.
- Heat a pan place the roti on tawa, flip, and cook until golden patches appear. Once cooked remove from pan and set aside.
- Now let’s assemble the wrap, Spread Hummus on one side of the roti, Place paneer over the spread, and Layer cabbage, onion, and Bell Pepper one over the other next pour 2 tbsp of sauce over the veggies and finally some chopped coriander leaves on top.
- Now let’s wrap it, Fold the left and right sides of the roti towards the center partially covering the filling, and next fold the bottom with the sides and the bottom secured roll the roti upwards tightly wrapping the filling completely.
- Heat a Hand toaster or a grilling pan, spread butter, and place the wrap also spread some butter over the wrap, and cook until light golden grill marks appear.
- Remove the wrap from the toaster cut and serve with sauce. Perfect to serve for breakfast or a Snack.
