Ingredients:-

  • Corn Flour – 3 tbsp
  • All Purpose flour – 3 tbsp
  • Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Garlic Powder – 1 tsp
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Red Food Color – ¼ tsp (optional)
  • Cauliflower florets – 2 cups
  • Oil to deep fry florets – 2 cups
  • Oil – 3 tbsp
  • Ginger minced – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic minced – 3 tbsp
  • Green Chili – 3
  • Spring onions bulb – 1 tbsp
  • Onion – ¼ cup
  • Capsicum – ½ cup
  • Spring onion greens – 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Red Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Green Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup – 1 tbsp
  • Water – ¾ cup
  • Corn flour – 2 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 tsp
  • Spring onion green for garnishing

Instructions:-

  • Step 1, take a mixing bowl and add 3 tablespoons of corn flour, 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of pepper powder, 1 teaspoon of pepper powder, salt, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Mix well by pouring ½ cup of water gradually. Add ¼ teaspoon of red color (optional).mix well till perfect consistency.
  • Step 2, add 2 cups of cauliflower florets and coat them with batter. 
  • Step 3, heat a kadai on medium flame and add 2 cups of oil to the kadai. Deep fry the florets in hot oil. Fry until golden and crispy.
  • Remove the fried florets from the oil and transfer them to another bowl.
  • Step 4, Heat an iron kadai on a medium flame and add 3 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon minced ginger, 3 tablespoons minced garlic, 3 chopped green chilies, 1 tablespoon spring onion bulbs, 14 cup onion, and 12 cup capsicum. Cook for 3 minutes on high heat.
  • Again spread 2 tablespoons of spring onion greens, coriander leaves, 1 tablespoon red chili sauce, 1 tablespoon of green chili sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of ketchup. Mix well by adding ½ cup of water. simmer the flame.
  • Step 5, make a slurry of cornstarch. Take 2 tablespoons of corn flour in a small bowl and mix 2 tablespoons of water without any lumps. Pour the slurry into the kadai. After the gravy thickens pour ¼ cup of water and add 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  • Step 6, now the time to add fried gobi to the gravy. coat fried gobi with gravy and garnish with spring onions greens part.  The delicious gobi Manchurian is ready to serve.
  • Transfer gobi Manchurian to a serving plate and enjoy with roti, paratha, or chapati. Thank you.
