Step 1. Add 1 cup besan, 2 tablespoons rice flour, salt to taste, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, and ½ teaspoon turmeric powder to a mixing bowl, then mix well with a spoon. Next, add ¾ cup of water in batches and mix well till perfect consistency.
Step 2. Heat a frying pan on medium flame and add 3 tablespoons of oil. Splutter 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds in heated oil. Next, add ½ teaspoon of cumin, ¼ teaspoon of hing, 2 teaspoons of garlic, ginger, and chili paste, 1 medium chopped onion, and curry leaves. Saute well and cook for 5 minutes.
