  • Curry Leaves
  • Pepper Powder: ½ Tsp
  • Garam Masala: ½ Tsp
  • Boiled and Mashed potato: 3
  • Oil to Fry
  • Green Chilies to fry: 6

Preparation:-

  • Step 1. Add 1 cup besan, 2 tablespoons rice flour, salt to taste, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, and ½ teaspoon turmeric powder to a mixing bowl, then mix well with a spoon. Next, add ¾ cup of water in batches and mix well till perfect consistency.
  • Step 2. Heat a frying pan on medium flame and add 3 tablespoons of oil. Splutter 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds in heated oil. Next, add ½ teaspoon of cumin, ¼ teaspoon of hing, 2 teaspoons of garlic, ginger, and chili paste, 1 medium chopped onion, and curry leaves. Saute well and cook for 5 minutes. Next, add ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, salt, ½ teaspoon pepper powder, and ½ teaspoon garam masala. Saute for 1 minute.
  • Step 3. To the same masala, add 3 boiled mashed potatoes and mix well. Add salt to taste. Mix again, and now the stuffing is ready. Allow it to cool and make medium-sized balls. Place the balls on a plate.
  • Step 4. Heat a kadai and add enough oil to fry potato balls. Now coat the potato balls with dough and drop them in hot oil. Fry until crispy. Once the crispy balls are ready, remove them from the oil and transfer them to a bowl or serving plate. Next, fry green chiles on medium flame and remove them from the oil.
