How To Make Sweet Paniyaram
In this recipe, we will use wheat flour, milk, and salt to make the batter for the paniyaram. We will also use ripe banana as one of the ingredients for flavor because it adds sweetness to the dish as well as a little bit of moisture to make it more fluffy on the inside than on the outside. One of the main ingredients in this dish is jaggery, which you can substitute with brown sugar or any other type of sweetener. When making the batter, you should mash the ripe banana.
To make Paniyaram, you will deep-fry Indian pancakes. To make the batter, you will mix sliced bananas, grated jaggery, chopped dates, wheat flour, coconut slices, and 2 tbsp milk. After they turn a golden brown color on all sides, you will remove them from the pan and transfer them to a serving plate. Paniyaram is traditionally eaten as breakfast or as an evening snack.
