  • Peanuts – 2 cups
  • Jaggery – 2 cups
  • Water – ¼ cup

Instructions:-

  • Step 1. Heat a kadai on a medium flame and add 2 cups of peanuts. Roast in medium flame. Turns golden, roast until the skins turn crispy. Remove from pan and allow to cool.
  • Step 2. Rub off the skin from the peanuts. Next, heat a frying pan on a medium flame and add 2 cups jaggery, and ¼ cup water. Cook on medium flame until melts. Simmer and cook for 5 minutes to gain the perfect consistency.
  • Step 3. After 5 minutes, drop syrup into the water. Gradually turns harder and holds shape. At this time add roasted peanuts to the melted jaggery. 
  • Step 4. Stir and coat the peanuts with jaggery. Switch off the flame once it reaches the perfect consistency. At this stage transfer to a greased surface and spread evenly. Flatten thin using a rolling pin. Once it’s cool cut into the desired shape using a knife. Crunchy peanut chikki is ready. Thank you.
