Indian festival is incomplete without sweets and desserts These sweets are either choice of ladoo or jalebi or milk-based ones like peda. Milk Peda is a traditional sweet of India usually made using khoya.
Khoya or Mawa is prepared by simmering milk for hours. Since it time-consuming, this sweet is usually made during special occasions or festivals. Milk Peda can also be prepared in an instant way using milk powder. The instant recipe is really time-saving and tastes similar to Confectionery Peda. Making time is really short compared to the traditionally made ones and is ready within 15 to 20 mins of time.
The Perfect Milk Peda Recipe for a Sweet Delight

To a nonstick pan add Milk, Sugar, and Ghee. Add 2 cups of milk powder in batches and mix without forming lumps.
After mixing without lumps keep the pan on flame. Stir continuously and cook in low flame until the mixture starts to leave the pan.
Once the Mixture Thickens and starts to leave the pan add your favorite flavoring, here I am adding rose essence (optional). Add any flavoring of your choice. (cardamom, rose water, etc). Mix well and remove from flame. Transfer the mixture immediately to a plate or any flat surface and allow it to cool for 2 minutes.
After cooling, grease hands with ghee, make small balls out of the mixture shape them using a cutter or bottle cap, decorate with silver varp (optional), and dry nuts.
