- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – ½ cup
- Rose Essence – ¼ tsp
- Ghee – 6 tsp
- Silver Vark (optional)

- Step 1: Take 2 cups of cashew nuts and transfer them to a grinding jar. Grind well (using pulse mode is better). ground cashew transfer to a bowl and set aside.
- Step 2: Heat a pan or kadai on medium flame and add 1 cup sugar, and ½ cup water. Simmer for 10 minutes and add ¼ teaspoon of rose essence into it. Stir well.
- Step 3: Next, add ground cashew to the sugar syrup. Stir continuously on medium flame. Continue to cook until the mixture starts to leave the pan. In between add 6 teaspoons of ghee in 3 batches. Now the mixture starts to leave the pan. While its reaches perfect consistency remove it from the pan.
- Step 4: Transfer the mixture to a flat surface lined with a baking sheet. The mixture is hot now so knead using a spatula until it reaches dough consistency. Cover with a baking sheet and roll to make a rectangular shape. Shape the edges.
