To a bowl add jowar Millet, Urid dal, and Fenugreek Seeds, Wash thoroughly 2-3 times or until the water runs clear.
Soak the above ingredients in water for 6 hrs.
After 6 hrs transfer the soaked ingredients to the grinding jar, add half a cup of cooked rice and half a cup of water. Grind to get a smooth batter.
Transfer the ground batter to a deep bottom Vessel, Mix the batter with your hands or Spatula (Mixing with hands helps in better fermentation).
Leave the batter to rest for 8 hrs or overnight. After 8 hrs the batter has doubled in volume, turns light, and Fluffy.
Transfer 2 cups of batter to a bowl, and save the remaining for later use or for making idly or Dosas.
Add Salt, green chili, Ginger, Capsicum, Onion, carrot, and curry leaves to the batter. Mix well and the batter is ready to cook.
Spread 1 tsp of butter on a hand toaster. Pour 2 ladles full batter spread evenly covering the edges. Cook on low flame, flip after 2 minutes, and cook until both sides turn crispy. Once cooked the toast will detach from the toaster by itself. (make sure to use a non-stick toaster)
Once the toast turns golden and crispy remove it from the toaster, and serve hot with Chutney.
