Ingredients:-
  • 2 cup Deseeded Jackfruit flesh
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Chopped nuts of your choice (to garnish)
Preparation:-
  1. Transfer jackfruit flesh to a grinding jar. Blend deseeded jackfruit flesh to a smooth paste.

  2. To a heated pan add 1 tablespoon of ghee, Transfer blended jackfruit flesh to the pan and mix well.

  3. Stir and cook on medium flame, after 5 mins of cooking add half a cup of sugar mix well, and dissolve.

  4. When sugar completely dissolves add 1 cup of milk powder. mix well until the milk powder dissolves.

  5. For flavor add a quarter teaspoon of cardamom powder. mix well 

  6. Keep stirring until the burfi starts to leave the pan. Add 3 teaspoons of ghee in batches and keep stirring. After 40 mins of cooking, the burfi starts to leave the pan.

  7. Stop cooking at this stage and transfer to a greased tray for setting. refrigerate for 2 hr for better results. 

  8. After 2 hours, garnish with chopped nuts and cut it into desired shape and form. compared to other burfis jackfruit burfi will be slightly chewy but, really delicious.
