Step 1. To a grinding jar add 1 cup rava, and ¼ cup poha / flattened rice. grind to a fine powder and transfer to a mixing bowl.
Step 2. To the same bowl add 2 tablespoons of wheat flour, ½ cup curd, and salt. Mix well and add 1 & ¼ cups water. Mix without lumps to get a flowy batter. allow resting for 10 minutes
Step 3. Next, heat a frying pan on medium flame and add 2 tablespoons of oil, 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds, ½ teaspoon urad dal, ½ teaspoon roasted chana dal, and 1 dry red chili, saute for a few seconds. Then add 2 teaspoons of minced ginger, 2 green chilies, curry leaves, and 1 onion chopped. Saute well for 1 minute. Now add ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, and 2 medium-boiled potatoes, and mix well. Next, add 1 teaspoon of pepper powder, salt, and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Masala filling is ready.
Step 4. Following from 2nd step add ¼ teaspoon of baking soda and mix well. Add water if required to adjust consistency. Flowy batter is ready to make dosa.
Step 5. Heat a frying pan on medium flame and drizzle water on the pan. Pour the batter over the pan and spread evenly.. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of oil over the dosa.
