Step-by-step instructions to prepare homemade buns

Ingredients:-

  • Warm milk - 1 & ½ cups
  • Active yeast - 1 tbsp
  • Sugar - 2 & ½ tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • All-purpose flour - 4 cups
  • Butter - 25 g
  • Oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions:-

  • Step 1. To a mixing bowl add 1 & ½ cups of warm milk, 1 tablespoon of active yeast, 2 & ½ tablespoons of sugar, and salt. Mix and dissolve sugar.
  • Step 2. Next, add 4 cups of all-purpose flour to the same bowl and combine with a spatula. Once well combined knead with your hands and transfer the dough to the workspace
  • Step 3. Then add 25-gram butter to the dough, stretch, and knead the dough for 10 minutes. Spread some oil over the dough and knead again for 1 minute. Transfer the dough to a bowl and wrap it with cling film and set aside for 1 hour.
  • Step 4. After 1 hour, remove the cling film and punch down the raised dough. Again transfer the dough to the work surface. Knead again for 5 minutes. Now grease the baking tray, divide the dough into equal portions, and shape the balls. Arrange to place the balls in the greased tray. Wrap the tray and rest for 20 minutes.
  • Step 5. After 20 minutes all balls are doubled in size. Next, apply milk wash over the balls and spread some sesame seeds over the dough balls. Now bake in preheated oven at 180-degree celsius for 20 minutes.
  • Step 6. Next, Arrange to place the remaining dough balls in greased air fryer tray. apply milk wash and spread some sesame seeds over the dough. Air fry 180-degree celsius for 7-8 minutes.
  • Step 7. Now oven-baked buns are ready. Brush the buns with butter and separate pillow-soft buns one by one. After 8 minutes, the air fryer buns are also ready. Soft eggless pav buns are ready. Thank you.
