Ingredients
Preparation
- Wash and strain half a cup of Sago seeds, Set 3 cups of water to boil Cook the sago seeds in water until they turn transparent.
- Once the sago seeds are cooked strain and Set aside.
- Roast Makhana and Almonds in a pan for about 2 minutes. Transfer them to a grinding jar and grind them to a fine powder. Set aside
- Next to the same pan add ghee and grated carrot roast the carrot in ghee for 2 minutes then add in the sugar. Once the sugar melts pour the milk and add the powdered dry nuts. Stir and dissolve.
- For flavor add a half teaspoon of cardamom Powder, simmer, and cook for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes add chopped almonds, raisins, and cooked sago. Stir and cook for 1 more minute. After 1 minute switch off the flame carrot, and Makhana Kheer is ready to serve
