Take 1 cup of urad daal in a bowl wash and strain by adding water. Then soak urad dal for a minimum of 5 hrs.
After 5 hrs, transfer urad dal to a grinding jar and coarse grind by adding 2 tablespoons of water. Transfer to a bowl.
Add salt to the batter and mix in one direction for 10 minutes. The batter turns fluffy and light.

After soaking, gently press the ballas between palms to remove excess water and place them on a setting tray. Then pour the dahi over bhallas.
Pour green chutney, sweet tamarind chutney, and sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala, cumin powder, salt, chili powder, sev, and bhoondi over dahi bhallas.
