Step-by-step instructions to prepare Bhel Puri

Ingredients:-

  • Coriander Leaves: ½ cup
  • Mint Leaves: ¼ cup
  • Green Chili: 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp
  • Peanuts: ½ cup
  • Roasted Chana Dal: ¼ cup
  • Oil: 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder: ¼ tsp
  • Puffed rice / murmura: 3 cups
  • Tomato: 1
  • Onion: 1
  • Green Chili: 1
  • Chili powder: ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala: 1 tsp
  • Bhoondi: ¼ cup
  • Green chutney: 3 tsp
  • Imli chutney: 3 tsp
  • Lime juice: 1 tbsp
  • Sev: ½ cup

Preparation:-

  • Step 1. To prepare green chutney add ½ cup of coriander leaves, ¼ cup of mint leaves, 1 green chili, salt, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the grinding jar. Grind smooth and the green chutney is ready.
  • Step 2. Heat a frying pan on medium flame and add ½ cup of peanuts. Roast in medium flame. Once ready remove and set aside.
  • Step 3. Next, roast ¼ cup chana dal on medium heat by adding 1 tablespoon oil and ¼ teaspoon chili powder in the same frying pan until aromatic. Roast for 1 more minute. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 4. Add 3 cups of puffed rice/ murmura to a frying pan and roast until crispy. Once it's crispy remove and set aside.
  • Step 5. To a mixing bowl, add 1 chopped tomato, 1 chopped onion, 1 green chili, coriander leaves, spicy chana dal, roasted peanuts, salt, ½ teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, ¼ cup bhoondi, 3 tablespoons green chutney, 3teaspoonsn imli chutney, and 1 tablespoon lime juice, Mix well and add roasted puffed rice. Again mix well by adding ½ cup sev. Bhel Puri Chat is ready.
  • Step 6. Let's assemble, add bhel puri to a serving plate, and garnish with imli, coriander chutney, bhoondi, and sev. Sprinkle little chaat masala and the delicious bhel puri chat is ready. Thank you.
